exlibris offers a fully integrated service to help publish your book. We have been designing books for both individuals and trade for years and can take your book from manuscript through design, layout and printing, all the way to delivery to your doorstep. Just as you’ve reached us via the Internet, you can be located anywhere in Australia and have your book produced professionally.

When you are ready to turn your manuscript into a real book, here are some easy steps.

Tell us a little about your book and we will provide you with a competitive quote so that you’ll know exactly what it’s going to cost you. No surprises down the track. We may need to sight your manuscript and materials at this stage so we can give you the most accurate costing possible. Your project will be handled with the utmost care and privacy; anything you send us will not go any further without your permission.

Once you are ready to publish your book and accept our quote, we start the book design (including the cover if you need that done) and typesetting. If you require editing, ghostwriting, image clean-up or illustration services, work on these will begin as well.

We will send you a PDF of the first draft, ready for you to view, print, proof and annotate right on your own computer using tools like Acrobat Reader. We’ll ask you to send the annotated PDF back for us to make the changes you’ve marked, and we’ll repeat the process until you’re happy that your book is perfect. Only then do we go to print – and before you know it your finished books will be delivered to your door.

Although many authors require an ebook these days, most still want their book printed. We have been dealing with a number of specialist print houses around Australia and overseas for some 30 years and we’ll will source the best price for your book without sacrificing quality.

Of course there is more to know about self-publishing your book than we have covered here, so we’ve created an informative guide full of information that will give you a better understanding of the process. For your free copy, simply enter your email address below and click the button.
